This is the third book written by Amor Towles. 

In his previous books, I feel that he lacked a proper ending. While the ending of A Gentleman in Moscow was decent, this was not the case with The Rules of Civility. 

However, this was impressive!

The book had a great story and it read like a mix of Huck Finn and the Grapes of Wrath, presenting the viewpoint of most of the people in the book. Not going to give you any more spoilers.

Well worth the read.

Amor Towles has finally learned how to write great endings!
