This is the quintessential book you should read if you want to understand who Warren Buffett is. Not his trades, not his success but who the person really is. The story is fascinating and the book is extremely well-written. 

Why should you bother with that? Because only if you understand who he is you can understand how he became so successful. 

The book also has a whole chapter on Charlie Munger, Buffett's sidekick, that offers more details on him that almost all of the other biographies of him I've read.

Warning: it's a long book.
