Taleb is one of those people who can write about economics, finance, and investing using stories and examples as if you are reading a fairytale. Thus, he manages to communicate important ideas and concepts without resorting to a gazillion of mathematical equations.

The premise of the book is already in the title: probability and chance matter a lot, both in our investing as well our daily lives.

That said, the book reads more like an accessible philosophical understanding of the markets - doing what Taleb did requires loads of money and a deep understanding of how complex products work.

Still, a very good read.
