I get it. Murakami's book have more to do about the descriptions and the psychological stuff but to be honest I found it plain. The story was rather meaningless, something like a "growing up" phase but limited to a few years and also with lots of deaths by depression for some reason (author doesn't explain).

Some pointless sex scenes as well (nothing too explicit to be fair).

I wouldn't go back to reading it.

PASS IF: You prefer good literature.
