MUST READ

This is Liaquat Ahamed's first book, but he does an impressive job at showcasing how the (economic) world behaved in the two decades inbetween the two world wars.

He manages to delve excellently in not just the main characters but the economic circumstances that prevailed in each of the main countries (US, UK, Germany, France) under study. An excellent overall read.

READ IF: You enjoy economic history, especially on how different countries behaved inbetween the two world wars.

PASS IF: You are looking for a crisis/stock market collapse or don't like economic history.
