I really enjoyed this collection of short stories. Part was funny, part was dull and slow, part was fast-paced but all of it very enjoyable. Very realistic as well, especially given that Maugham was actually a spy during WWI.

READ IF: You enjoy a good short stories about what appears to have been real-life interactions.

PASS IF: You want a fast-paced spy novel.
